Essay on: Katha Upanishasd

             In this story called Katha Upanishasd we see how the story can be an a allegory. And how much Nachiketa symbolizes what's best about being a teenager. And how death appears as a character in the story as a human a person and not an idea. Allegory is a story poem or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning typically immoral or a political one.

          First what makes it classified as a allegory is how death appears as a character in the story Death actually appears as a person / thing not as an idea. In the story he can grant wishes and he has a place where you can find them like human. Very different from what I know. Supposedly that is he's kind of like the devil but not really because in the story they call him death. In the story Death tells Nachiketa that he can have three boons which are wishes and out of all those wishes he one of them is that he wants to know what happens after death. And I feel the meaning of was no one ever is going to know what's going to happen after death. Even if you have three wishes somehow no one knows with Beyond Death.

         The second thing that makes it classified as an allegory is how Nachiketa symbolizes what's best about being a teenager. I feel that what's best about for being a teenager is that you are very curious. And you're not scared of doing anything that you feel like doing. You get to learn so many things about the world that you didn't know before and you go to new places. You meet new people which is amazing. You question a lot about what you do you really think hard. That's what best about being a teenager. you're like Curious George roaming around the whole entire world. The meaning behind this is that if I feel like only teenagers want to no more because I don't know his father would have wished for money, Fame, and Fortune. But that's not one not two key to did he wanted to know more he was curious and that's what's best about being a teenager you want to know more.
         Last but not least what is abstract theme or of religion and death. I feel like the team could be some people no matter how old they are or young their wives and they want to know more they don't want to just the fame the money they want to know what's going to happen after they die they want to know what will happen if you jump off that cliff. And I feel so Right saying this that I feel like only teenagers are curious nowadays. Because even my mom has told me this that when you're young you don't know so you want to do a lot and you don't think twice you just go. But when you're older you feel more restricted stop yourself and to think you have a family and kids and sometimes you can't be as curious as you used to be so you just want the money the fame and the fortune.
